Mission of Mercy
Since 1994, Mission of Mercy has been providing free healthcare, free dental care and free prescription medications to the uninsured, underinsured and those who "fall through the cracks" of our healthcare system.
An independent nonprofit 501 (c)(3), faith-based community organization, Mission of Mercy receives no government funding. Because of this, we can provide healthcare without any pre-qualifications. None of our patients must prove their poverty or residency.

PFLAG

Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) envisions a world where diversity is celebrated and all people are respected, valued, and affirmed inclusive of their sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression.

By meeting people where they are and collaborating with others, PFLAG realizes its vision through:

  • • Support for families, allies and people who are LGBTQ
  • • Education for ourselves and others about the unique issues and challenges facing people who are LGBTQ
  • • Advocacy in our communities to change attitudes and create policies and laws that achieve full equality for people who are LGBTQ

AZ MIHA

Arizona Maricopa Interfaith HIV/AIDS Alliance AZ MIHA is a place where people living with HIV/AIDS and those who would like to know more about it, can find authoritative information, hints for daily living, and those who support the lifestyle change needed when a diagnosis of HIV/AIDS has been given.

We are building a network of clergy and lay people, congregations, and organizations within the Arizona, New Mexico, and the El Paso Texas areas for care giving, education and prevention in response to the HIV and AIDS pandemic.

Trans Spectrum of AZ

Trans Spectrum is a safe weekly space for transgender identified individuals and their partners/families. Our purpose is to provide service, support and a social outlet for transgender and gender non- conforming individuals and their allies. Below are the current support groups.

  • Gender Non-Conforming
    This long anticipated support group is intended to fill the need for support for adults in our Trans* community who are under the Trans* umbrella but do not feel they belong in the Phoenix Trans-masculine or Trans-feminine groups.
  • Trans-masculine
    Confidential and safe support group for trans-masculine identified or questioning individuals and their SOFFA’s (Significant Others, Family, Friends, and Allies).
  • Trans-feminine
    Confidential and safe support group for trans-feminine identified or questioning individuals and their SOFFA’s (Significant Others, Family, Friends, and Allies).
  • SOFFA
    Confidential and safe support group for SOFFA which stands for Significant Others, Family, Friends and Allies.
